Summer Jobs Service is now closed.  Please check back in April 2012.

The Summer Jobs Service is funded by the Ministry of training, College and Universities to support employment for students from April to August.  It provides young people between the ages of 15-30, who are planning to return to school in the fall with direct access to summer jobs offered by participating employers.  Students also have the opportunity to participate in open workshops to gain the information, knowledge and skills to find jobs.

 

Incentives for Employers

Participating employers receive a wage subsidy and access to students who are ready and willing to work in the summer.

Participating (pre-approved) employers can submit their claims to be reimbursed using this form.
