Financial Assistance Options

Scholarships and Bursaries

Mohawk College would like to introduce our Scholarships and Bursaries, formerly referred to as the OSOTF Awards. For the fall and winter semesters, Mohawk is committed to supporting students financially through scholarships, awards and bursaries. This type of financial assistance is non-repayable and can be based on a variety of criteria. Academic standing is the primary criteria for scholarships while a bursary's first focus is financial need. The Ontario Provincial Government matches donations from the community to support awards and scholarships at Mohawk College. The provinces' guidelines and donor intent are followed during the selection process to ensure that the most suitable applicant is granted the award. Please find some quick links and tips below to assist with the application process.

How to Apply

There are hundreds of awards and scholarships available to both new and returning Mohawk College students. The Mohawk Awards Application needs to be submitted early (starting April 1 for Fall and November 1st for Winter) to be considered for all Scholarships and Bursaries. New Mohawk students are required  to submit transcripts from high school, college or university to the Financial Aid and Awards Office by fax  905-575-2107 or email Awards. For new students if you do not submit your academic records you will not be considered for an award. One application per semester is sufficient to be considered for all general application awards.
