Professional Registration

Graduates of the MRSc Radiography and Radiation Therapy specialties are required and eligible to sit the certification examinations of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). All employers in Ontario require registration by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) and the CAMRT exam is the approved examination of the CMRTO.

Graduates of the MRSc Ultrasonography specialty are eligible to sit the certification examinations of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in specific specialties. Upon certification with ARDMS, the sonographer can become a member of several professional associations dedicated to the promotion and development of the profession and practice of ultrasonography.

Currently, a Canadian Registry is in development - CARDUP (Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals). When confirmation of the date of implementation of the Canadian registry is received, the information will be communicated to the program students and/or graduates.
