Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR)
The Child and Youth Worker program offers a process that allows credit for prior learning. This process allows you to apply for official recognition for skills and knowledge which you have already acquired through on-the-job experience, formal education and training programs. Up to 75% of the credits required in the Child and Youth Worker Diploma Program may be achieved through the experiential learning mode.
