Field Placement Practicum
Placement are developed by our Field Placement Coordinator. Students are supported in weekly small class seminars by Faculty Liaison. Placement are available in Hamilton, Brantford and surrounding areas.

- Seniors
- Domestic Violence
- Disabilites
- Poverty
- Children
- Newcomers
Field Work Practicum Information for Day and Continuing Education (CE)
Prior to beginning ALL Field Work Practicum’s, the following MUST be completed and valid during the entirety of the placement:
- Medical Clearance
- Police Clearance (although some agencies will take students with a police record, Mohawk College cannot guarantee that anyone with a police record will be able to complete a placement)
- Passing grade in Interviewing Skills (COMM SO226) and Field Placement Prep and Community Awareness (HMNS 10008)
- Other requirements as requested by placement agency
