Information for Future Students
About Our Program
Upon successful completion of our two year program, students will receive a Diploma in Social Service Work. Students will have successfully met the academic requirements of a variety of courses providing them with a variety of helping skills, and a demonstrated understanding of the values and ethics of the Social Service Work profession.
Students are required to complete 600 hours of supervised field practicum in two different settings during our two year program. Our program philosophy focuses on a client centered, humanistic approach. Graduates of the Social Service Worker Program leave with the skills, techniques and knowledge to work with diverse client groups in many social service settings.
