Personal Counselling
Free and confidential counselling services are available to Mohawk College students who are experiencing personal problems that are getting in the way of their academic success. Counsellors assist students with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, violence/abuse, financial issues, self esteem, sexuality, relationships, addictions, eating disorders, anger management, assertiveness, self injury, thoughts of suicide, adjusting to college, grief, housing and daycare issues and personal growth and development etc. When appropriate, we will make referrals to other College or community resources to help you receive the best possible care and service.
