What is it?
Software and tools provided through Mohawk to create podcasts and audio files.
CTL facilitates access to a full-service recording booth where you can record top-quality audio for podcasts or other course materials that you create.
For software, CTL recommends Audacity. Audacity is free software, developed by a group of volunteers and distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Get Audacity!
Why would you use it?
Adding audio to your course can:
• solidify understanding for auditory learners;
• increase engagement of all students;
• allow for more flexibility in learning through iPods and Smartphones.
