Support sustainability and maintain that personal touch
What are they?
Tablets give you the portability of a laptop, but with increased functionality. You can write on them with a digital pen as you would on a paper notepad with an ink pen. You are then able to save your digital additions.
Why would you use them?
Add the personal touch of your own handwriting to assignment feedback while saving trees.
NOTE: With some additional training, there are also other uses for tablets.
How to use them at Mohawk?
The CTL has 2 tablets for faculty use and IT has a few more. Book one or drop by CTL. Or contact IT to book its supply of tablets.
Students electronically submit their assignments/activities to eLearn where you download, add feedback and evaluation using the tablet, and send your comments and grade back to the students through eLearn.
Depending on what your learning style is, book an appointment with a CTL staffer or use online tutorials.
