Lisa Amsden

 Lisa Amsden dominated Women's Cross Country during her three years at Mohawk College. Lisa led the Women's Cross Country team to three first place team finishes in OCAA as well placing first in OCAA individual competition. For her accomplishments, Lisa was awarded the Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year and the Cross Country MVP in 1986, 1987 and 1988. Lisa continued her running career after graduation competing at the provincial and national championships.

Melinda Coker

 Melinda Coker began her basketball career at Mohawk College leading the Women's Basketball team to an OCAA Gold medal in 1983 and fourth place finish at the CCAA and followed up with OCAA Bronze medals in 1984 and 1985. Melinda's individual honours include an OCAA league and championship All-Star in 1983, OCAA All Star Team in 1984 and 1985 and still holds the OCAA Career Scoring Record. Melinda was named the College's Outstanding Female Athlete in 1984 and 1985.

Jack Hazelton - Builder

Jack Hazelton was Mohawk College's first president from 1966 to 1971. A vigorous supporter of the athletic program, Jack helped to establish the foundation of athletics through his belief that athletics was one of the key elements in the enrichment of student life. Jack's belief and sense of humour ensured the commitment to the athletic program in the early days of Mohawk's history.

Wendy Mabson

Wendy Mabson competed in two varsity sports, badminton and tennis, during her three years at Mohawk. With badminton partner Brad Paul, Wendy captured two OCAA Gold Medals in 1986 and 1987, a CCAA Silver Medal in 1986 and a CCAA Gold Medal in 1987. Wendy was named the College's All-Round Female Athlete in 1986, 1987 and 1988 and Coaches Award winner with Brad in 1986.

Brad Paul

Brad Paul, one-half of Mohawk's most successful Badminton Mixed Doubles team, captured two OCAA Gold Medals in 1986 and 1987. With partner Wendy Mabson, they also won a CCAA Silver Medal in 1986 and a CCAA Gold Medal in 1987. Brad was named the Coaches Award winner with Wendy in 1986 and the Outstanding Male Athlete in 1987.

Paul Stratford - Builder

Paul Stratford's athletic accomplishments began while he was a student at Mohawk as a member of the 1971 and 1972 OCAA Men's Team Cross Country Champions. After graduation, Paul continued his cross country career as coach from 1981 to 1989. During his coaching career, Paul's record included four OCAA Men's team championships from 1983 to 1987, eight OCAA Women's team championships from 1982 to 1989, and five individual Men's and Women's champions. Paul was not only an outstanding recruiter of cross country runners but also an avid supporter of the entire athletic program.
