Program Description
Business - Accounting Diploma
Experience a balance of accounting theory and practical applications with integrated computer technologies. Accounting courses in the Business - Accounting Diploma Program are recognized by the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario (CGA) when an appropriate grade level is achieved. Students in the Business - Accounting Diploma program can specialize in financial accounting, cost and management accounting, taxation, business finance, and applied accounting systems. They will progress towards a professional accounting designation.
Transferability to the three-year Business Administration program to complete a second diploma. Degree transfer opportunities available.

Awards for Student Excellence
Academic excellence and leadership skills are recognized at the annual School of Business Awards Night - monetary awards include the CGA Ontario Award for Excellence with an award value of $150 cash plus an indexed credit amount covering one year of study to be applied towards the CGA program of professional studies.
Transfer Options
Upon completion of a common first semester, students can choose to transfer into second semester of one of the following programs:
- Business - Marketing
- Insurance
- Business (General)
- Business Administration
- Business - Financial Services
Note: An additional requirement based on overall grades may be required to proceed into some of these programs.
