Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition
The Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition affords students the opportunity to "sell" their most valuable commodity - their talent and abilities in the current world of business.
Hosted by a different college each year, students are challenged in various arenas; from a quiz bowl format stylized after the television show Jeopardy, to case studies pertaining to various aspects of marketing, job interview simulations and sales presentations.
Mohawk College has been involved with the competition since the early 1980s. In 1986 Mohawk hosted the event for the first time and invited colleges from across the Province. Since then, the annual competition has seen between 13 and 18 colleges participate, with approximately 300 people in attendance.
Mohawk hosted the competition again in 2009.
