Program Description
International Business Management Graduate Certificate
The International Business Management Program is an eight-month Graduate Certificate offered at Fennell Campus in Hamilton, Ontario. Students in the International Business Management program will:
- Learn how to research potential international opportunities with consideration of culture, finance, legal and distribution issues
- Learn to develop an international market entry strategy for a service or product
- Create an international business plan to support the global strategy of a company
- Learn to investigate, analyze and manage many aspects of international trade for an organization
Graduates of this program receive credits towards the CITP (Certified International Trade Professional) designation provided by the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT). Degree transfer opportunities are available.

- certificate in this program will provide 8 credits toward a Forum For International Trade Training designation as a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP). Accredited Partnership with FITT
Mohawk College has partnered with FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) to offer the FITTskills program.
Fitt is an international trade training and professional certification body. FITT sets the standards and designs the training programs leading to the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation. FITT's quality training programs impart knowledge and pratical skills that provide a competitive advantage to trade practitioners and elevate their position in world markets.
Eight of the courses offered by the Mohawk International Business Management program may be transferred to FITT towards the educational requirements of the CITP designation.
