Highlights
Explore non-destructive testing technologies such as vibration analysis, lubricant analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and major circuit analysis playing a valuable role in indicating the onset of equipment and product failures before they occur and ensuring safe and productive workplaces- Master theoretical and practical on-site non-destructive examination techniques that enable examination of an object or material in a way that does not impair its usefulness
- Learn to detect the potential for unreliable product performance or product failure and alleviate/manage the consequences of failure using a range of scientific tests and predictive techniques
- Solve technical problems related to shop or field environments using a variety of systematic approaches
- Interpret and produce graphics and other standard technical documents necessary for testing, compliance and maintenance
- Predict, maintain and test for reliability and quality of equipment, components and/or structures to maintain safe, effective and efficient operation
- This new program is delivered in partnership with The Canadian Institute for Non-Destructive Examination (CINDE)
- Prepare for NDE certifications Level 1 and 2 and qualify through co-op

Admission Requirements
- OSSD or equivalent (GED, College and Career Preparation) including:

- Grade 12 English, C or U or equivalent
- Grade 12 Mathematics, C (Math for College Technology is recommended) or (U), or Mohawk College Prep Math for Technology or equivalent
- Physics and Chemistry recommended
- Mature applicants will be considered on an individual basis
