General Camp Programs
WOW (Co-ed, Ages 5-7), $180/WeekWOW is the perfect summer camp for the energetic child who loves to have fun. This is an interactive camp that inspires imagination, team building and develops self-confidence. Activities include special guests, arts and crafts, water games, team sports, outdoor games, dance and offsite trips. Our highly qualified and passionate counsellors will help create a safe and energetic atmosphere for all campers. Each week offers a unique theme and new activities for campers to enjoy!
Fusion (Co-ed, Ages 8-10), $180/Week
Fusion is the place to be for your 8 to 10 year old summer camper. Fusion campers will enjoy an action packed week of activities including group games and challenges. Each week has a unique theme and will include various arts and crafts, sports, special guests and an offsite trip. Our counsellor’s enthusiasm and energy will be sure to leave Fusion campers with memories to last a life time!
Jr. Hawks (Co-ed, Ages 11-13), $180/Week
Jr. Hawks is the ideal camp for pre-teens looking for an exciting summer filled with new experiences and new friends! Jr. Hawks engages campers by providing a variety of activities to choose from each week. Choices will include a daily selection of sports, dance, team-building challenges, arts and crafts, low organizational games, an offsite trip and more. This camp is designed in the interest of youth ages 11-13 and offers a new and exciting theme each week!
Specialty Camp Programs
Power of Dance (Co-ed, Ages 8+), $200/Week
Power of Dance offers an unforgettable summer experience to dancers looking to keep active and discover their passion for dance. Each day will feature a different dance discipline. Dancers will have the opportunity to learn a hip hop routine instructed by one of Hamilton’s best choreographers and freestylers, learn contemporary and jazz routines by some of the most talented dancers around, and cheer with one of Hamilton’s very own Tiger Cat Cheerleaders! On the final day of camp, dancers will have the opportunity to showcase their performances at the Mohawk College summer camp talent show. Sing up fast, space is limited! Previous dance experience an asset.
Triple Threat (Co-ed, Ages 8+), $300/Two Week Program
Sing, Act and Dance your summer away! This two week camp will inspire participants to embrace their talents with the help of professional performing arts instructors. Campers will learn how to shine under the spotlight by enhancing their self- expressions, body awareness, and social skills. Triple Threat allows you to use your imagination to experience the world of theatre through singing, acting and dancing. On the final day of camp, production performances will take place in the McIntyre Performing Arts Centre where family and friends are welcome and encouraged to come enjoy the show. This year’s productions will be “Behind the Curtain”, a performer’s journey from audition to opening night and “Once Upon a Time”, a modern day twist of classic fairy tales. Sports Extravaganza (Co-ed, Ages 8+), $200/Week
Sports Extravaganza is the perfect camp for the sport enthusiast. Mohawk’s multi-sport camp offers a daily variety of sports such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball and football. Experienced coaches and athletes will help to develop your camper’s skills in various sports and fitness related activities while supporting fun and fair play. Campers will enjoy a weekly offsite trip.
Bieber Fever (Co-ed, Ages 6+), $200/Week
Do you have Bieber Fever? If so, this is the camp for you! Bieber Fever is a weeklong program that offers a wide variety of activities. Learn the choreography and music from your favourite JB songs taught by professional instructors. Perform these routines in Friday’s talent show. This camp also offers arts and crafts, water games, an offsite trip, Justin’s favourite sports and more!
