Credential: Mohawk College Certificate
Program Number: 915

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Whether you need documentation to show your competence with computers or you want to be able to use your home computer more effectively, this program offers courses to meet the needs of today’s computer users. You can take a variety of courses in a number of software applications. Some courses in this program are also offered through Distance Education.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Courses are open to ALL students. It is assumed that participants in each course will have some understanding of the Windows computer environment. You are strongly urged to complete (INFOBW001) WORKSHOP FOR WINDOWS, before taking other courses.

eLEARN AND MOCOMOTION

All computer courses make use of eLearn. Students will use this portal site to email their instructor and to access course outlines, assignments, and related course materials. Assignments and exams will also be submitted through eLearn. The Computer Basics with Windows 7, Word and Excel (INFO10156) will teach you how to use eLearn.
Click here to view the eLearn Student Manual online (PDF format).

MoCoMotion is used to access your grades, tax receipts and other important information.
