PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Career consultation has become a unique specialty evolving with economic and labour market changes. Career practitioners work in diverse settings and have varying backgrounds. This program will interest individuals with experience in Career Development who wish to enhance their skills, and those in Human Service areas wishing to add these competencies to their employment profile. If you currently work in Education, Human Resources, Social Services, and Career Information Centres, Recruitment Firms, Employment Agencies, Rehabilitation and Multicultural Settings, you should find this program valuable.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
A degree or diploma in a related area. Individuals who have considerable experience in a related field, a minimum of grade 12 or mature student status, and have completed some college or university level courses will also be considered.
Students must be accepted into the program prior to taking any courses. Please contact the Program Manager for information regarding the application process. You will be required to submit an updated resume. Prospective students must apply at least one week prior to start up.
