Engineering Technology

Engineering Technology in the School of Continuing Education offers a variety of career-oriented, certificate programs and special courses that are designed to meet the technology training needs of the community. The training levels range from technical skills to engineering Technician to post-diploma Technician. Adult learners can explore new areas of vocational interest or obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to keep up to date and to advance in their chosen field.

Most of the Engineering Technology courses are offered in conjunction with a certificate program of studies; some courses may be used for credit towards a related Technician Diploma.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Unless stated otherwise, the admission requirement for all Engineering Technology programs includes Ontario Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent or Mature Student Status.

NOTE: It is your responsibility to ensure you have the required prerequisites for courses. Prerequisites are listed in the course descriptions and in the programs of studies. Some courses require the purchase of textbooks and/or manuals.

You may qualify for exemptions in individual courses using courses previously taken at university or another community college. To apply for exemptions, log into MoCoMotion; for further information about exemptions, please visit the Registration office at the Square at Fennell Campus or the Registration Centre at STARRT, Brantford or the IAHS.
