Administration of Medication for Nurses - NRSG10027

Safe, accurate, effective and ethical medication administration is an important responsibility in nursing. Based on current standards of practice from CNO, nurses will discuss professional responsibilities in administrating medication as well as the knowledge, skill and judgement required to be competent.

Current Certificate of registration or letter of direction from College of Nurses of Ontario.

This course provides a comprehensive update for nurses caring for patients receiving IV therapy. Content includes a review of pertinent anatomy and physiology as a foundation for discussion on IV solutions, equipment, starting IVs, patient assessment and appropriate nursing care. Employing agencies will remain responsible for
certification in clinical IV skills.

The Management of Wounds - HSCIHS127
