Arrhythmia Interpretation - HLTH10229
Review cardiac mechanical anatomy and electrical structures. Using a systematic approach, learn to recognize and interpret cardio arrhythmia's, understand their causes, clinical manifestations and management. Prerequisite: Must be a Health Care Professional (RN, RPN, Paramedic, Pharmacy Tech, nursing student, etc.). Equivalent to: NRSG10060.
Basic Blood Collection - MLSCML123
Focus on safe collection of capillary and venous blood samples. Appropriate for individuals working in clinical settings such as Doctor's offices, blood collections centres, and hospital laboratories. Skills practice is done on artificial arms. Opportunity for practice on student volunteers will be available. Balance of hours online.

Designed specifically for individuals who have completed CSCT approved Cardiovascular Technology program and preparing for the CSCT certification exam. Based on the CSCT Exam Hand Guide and the National Competency profile (NCP) for cardiology technologists. Note: Proof of Cardiology Technology program completion must be shown during the first class.
