Labour Studies in Occupational Health and Safety Certificate

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Mohawk College, in partnership with the Hamilton & District Labour Council and the Brantford & District Labour Council, is offering a Certificate program in Occupational Health and Safety.

PROGRAM OF STUDIES

Effective Fall 2011 the Program of Studies has changed.  Students entering the program will be required to complete the courses listed below to obtain the Certificate.  Students who began their studies prior to Fall 2011 should contact the HDLC regarding a strategy for completion.

Prepares workers, their representatives, family members and others to participate in a coroner's inquest. Provides an introduction to the Ontario's Coroner's system and the Coroner's Act, including technical terms and procedures.
