PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Learn from these six courses which are designed to provide detailed information on the design and construction of residential buildings. Primarily intended for members of the general public who intend to design, build, or renovate their own residences, but it also has strong appeal for trades-persons who wish to increase their construction knowledge, or for persons seeking employment in the residential construction field. All courses are extremely practical in nature and present current building, framing, drafting, and energy-effciency methods and techniques in an understandable and effective way.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Courses may be taken in any order, but the recommended starting course is Construction Practice - Basic.
PROGRAM OF STUDIES
To receive the Certificate, you must successfully complete five courses in the program, including four mandatory courses and apply in writing to the Continuing Education Engineering Technology Department.
