Alumni of Distinction Awards
The Mohawk College faculty, staff and students would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Mohawk College Alumni Association, who have committed to establishing 73 new entrance award opportunities; these awards have been established in the names of all current and past Alumni of Distinction Award recipients in recognition of their career achievements and contributions to their community. It is the Alumni Association’s intention to honour all future distinguished alumni in the same way in the year they receive their award.
The Mohawk College Alumni Association has demonstrated an incredible amount of support for the Mohawk College community; their generosity, assistance and genuine interest in fostering past and present Mohawk Students is nothing short of amazing.
For students interested in applying for these new awards, there will be 33 available immediately for fall 2011 start. The remaining 40 will open up as the year goes on, to create equal opportunities for students who are commencing a winter or spring start.
Thank you once again to The Mohawk College Alumni Association. Your support for our students provides valuable funding for their education, and ensures that their journey to success begins at Mohawk College.
