PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Develop a firm foundation in current clinical approaches to diabetes education. Designed for RNs, RPNs, Registered Dieticians, Pharmacists, Chiropodists and Physicians, the program is an excellent step towards certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible you must be a RN, RPN, Registered Dietician, Pharmacist, Chiropodist or Physician, currently eligible to practice in Ontario. Prior approval is necessary. Please forward your proof of registration/eligibility to practice in Ontario to Amy Boyer, Institute for Applied Health Sciences, 1400 Main St. W., Hamilton, ON L8S 1C7 or fax to 905-528-7706.
Permission from the Program Manager and medical clearance are required in order to register in the field placement.
