Program Description

Computer Engineering Technology Advanced Diploma

The Computer Engineering Technology program at Mohawk College is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma offered at Fennell Campus in Hamilton, Ontario.

Students in the program will connect their interests with advanced education in Computer Engineering. They will have the chance to explore the computer/digital field through theory and hands-on practice, with emphasis on hardware. Students will learn about:

electronic/electrical fundamentals
digital hardware
microcontroller languages and systems
digital data transmission, computer networks and protocols, computer interfacing

Opportunities for Graduates

Graduates are eligible to register as associate members of The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT)
