Admission Requirements
Applicants to the Electrical Engineering Technology - Control Advanced Diploma program must have the minimum requirements for admission:
- OSSD or equivalent (GED, College and Career Preparation) including:
- Grade 12 English, C or U or equivalent
- Grade 12 Mathematics, U or MCT4C or MAP4C ≥ 80% or equivalent*
- Senior Physics and Chemistry are recommended
- Options are available for mature applicants. Please contact Admissions for more information.
- Students should have a working knowledge of MS Office and Office Suite prior to starting the program. Computer Skills for College COMP CO002 or equivalent is recommended. Register online at ce.mohawkcollege.ca.
* Applicants that do not satisfy minimum requirements will be provided an alternate offer to Mohawk's Pretechnology Certificate program as a pathway/foundation to desired program. Successful graduates from this program will be considered for advanced standing into original program choice.
Applicants that would like to challenge the math requirements may do so by writing a Pre-admission assessment test for a fee.
