When will I hear back from Mohawk if I am selected for an interview?

Everyone who applies will receive a confirmation that their application was received. You can check the status of your application by logging into your profile. Please be aware that based on the volume of applications received, it may take a few weeks to update the status of your application.

I have been contacted for an interview. What do I need to bring to the interview?

When you are selected for an interview, a member of the Talent Acquisition team will contact you and will provide you with any additional details.

What does the interview process involve?

Generally, candidates are asked to attend a virtual panel interview. Depending on the position, you may be asked to prepare a presentation, a teaching lesson, complete a skills test or other assessment related to the role. For some positions, you may be asked to attend a second interview before a decision is made.

What qualifications do I need to become an instructor or professor?

The college requires instructors or teachers to have an educational credential at least one level higher than that granted by the program. As well, you must have existing industry experience combined with previous teaching experience.
