Changes to the Ontario Textbook & Technology Grant for 2010/2011
The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities has announced changes to the way the Ontario Textbook & Technology Grants (TTG) are administered.
- For 2009/2010, in order to be eligible for the TTG, a full-time post-secondary student must apply for OSAP either by using the web application or a paper application.
- Once the Confirmation of Enrolment is signed by the student and keyed by the Financial Aid Office (usually at the time of the first loan pick-up), the TTG will be released by the Ministry and mailed directly to the student’s address as it appears on the OSAP application.
- Each eligible student will receive $150 for 2009/2010.
