Co-op Students Receiving OSAP
Important Information for Co-op Students Receiving OSAP and Previous OSAP Recipients
Before leaving your in-class term to begin a co-op work term, please remember to print from the OSAP website the "Continuation of Interest-Free Status". Complete the top section and add your student number to the top of the page. Drop off this form to the Financial Aid Office or the Student Services Office at your campus. The information will be keyed electronically and downloaded to the appropriate service providers.
If you are on an eight- or twelve-month co-op, you will need to submit this form at the beginning of each co-op term.
If you are returning to an in-class term and will not be receiving OSAP, then you must again hand in the completed Continuation of Interest-Free Status form to the Financial Aid Office or Student Services Office at your campus.
Please note that if you owe money to Mohawk College, we may not be able to process your "Continuation of Interest-Free Status". It is your responsibility to ensure that your file is updated appropriately.
