Mohawk's Additive Manufacturing Resource Centre (AMRC) is Ontario's only Additive Manufacturing Resource Centre that can produce metal parts.
The AMRC focuses on applied research in additive manufacturing with the ability to produce 3D models, prototypes, tooling and production parts out of titanium, aluminum, nickel, stainless steel, bronze, plastics and other metals. A direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) printer is available to test variations in a part’s shape, weight, thickness, and density using different grades of metal powder alloy. The AMRC’s plastic 3D printers will also allow industry partners to create preliminary designs before commissioning metal parts or to test new product designs.
