Nov. 25, 2011, iDeaWORKS was proud to welcome The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State (Science and Technology) to announce funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) to Ontario colleges and community businesses. Mohawk College will receive $2.2 million in funding over five years. Read more at the NSERC website, theSpec.com, and Mohawk Matters.

Friday Oct. 21, 2011, iDeaWORKS was proud to welcome MP David Sweet to its working lab to announce 15 agreements between the college and local small- and medium-sized businesses. Thanks to a contribution from FedDev Ontario's Applied Research and Commercialization Initiative, these businesses will have the opportunity to bring innovative products to market and increase their competitiveness.
