Mohawk students and faculty from any program of study are encouraged to pursue their ideas and interests.


Students can participate in iDeaWORKS projects through the following channels.

Get involved in the following ways:

Co-op Placements - Students are paid to work during four-month co-op terms. Students working together at a computer

Course Release - Students in senior semesters can select one or two optional
courses from their academic workload from which they are released.  Students
are then enrolled in a project-based Applied Research Course (for each course
from which they are released) and work under the supervision of faculty and
staff on current lab projects. 

Class Participation - Mohawk students enrolled in current courses can participate when faculty members use iDeaWORKS project tasks as class assignments.

The Hatchery - Entrepreneurial students have the opportunity to bring their innovative business ideas to market.
