Program Description
Develop knowledge and skills in Perinatal Nursing as an RPN!
Explore a comprehensive study of nursing care of mother, fetus/newborn and family, from preconception to six weeks postpartum.
Through a combination of theory and hands-on clinical work, there is a strong emphasis on physiology, evidenced based practice, research and nursing management. Improve your ability to provide effective, safe and satisfying care to patients and their families, including newborn and family assessments, problem recognition, newborn complications and more.

You do not need to apply to begin this program. Simply ensure you meet the requirements listed on the Admission Requirements webpage prior to registering.
- Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario as a current RPN or registration with the respective provincial/territory regulator.
Interested in taking a single course? Provided you have the appropriate prerequisites, the courses in this program can be taken individually.
