The Community Access and Engagement team loves to mix fun and learning for young people in Hamilton through after school programming.
In partnership with Mission Services, funded through the Hamilton Community Foundation's ABACUS grant, this after school drop-in program makes weekly visits to Mohawk College's Fennell campus for homework help and athletics mentorship.
This fall, LEGO Robotics starts up at the Eva Rothwell Centre! Funded through the Hamilton Community Foundation's ABACUS grant, kids will participate in this technology programming at the Centre and at Mohawk College.
Mohawk Mentors is a volunteer initiative to engage Mohawk College Students in leadership opportunities around the College and in the Hamilton Community. Weekly content is kid-friendly, college-related programming, facilitated by Mohawk Mentors delivered with various Mohawk program departments including Broadcasting, Building Construction, Engineering Technology and more!
