Although Mika is from Japan she finished an English program in Australia and wanted to come to Canada to study. She studied in the Computer Systems Technician - Web Application program at Mohawk College and volunteered as a Student Ambassador. She also volunteered as a teaching assistant helping students learn to speak Japanese.

"I came to Canada because there is lots of opportunity after graduation. Warm summers and cold winters for skiing - it is a great country. Come and join us."
