Mohawk College Signed MOU with Guangzhou City Construction College
On May 6th and 7th Mohawk College hosted a twelve member delegation of administrators from Guangzhou City Construction College, Guangzhou, China. President Rob MacIssac signed a Memorandum of Understanding with President Fuliang Zhang of Guangzhou City Construction College.
The delegation toured Fennell and Stoney Creek campuses, interviewed several International Students from China and spent much time discussing program details with senior academic members at the college. The goal of the delegation’s visit was to pursue joint program partnership with Mohawk in the near future. Mohawk College has had partnerships with Chinese institutions for many years and is certainly encouraged by the formal commitment from Ontario government to expand international education in Ontario and overseas.
