Accommodation
International Student Services and Mohawk College know that finding new friends can be difficult. Living on campus or in a homestay offers you the chance to learn about Canadian culture and make new friends.
Living In A Homestay
The Homestay program allows our international visa students a chance to live with a Canadian family. This offers several benefits:
- Make new friends easily
- Learn casual English as it is used in day-to-day life
- Witness and experience Canadian culture first hand
Our homestay coordinator personally interviews all host families to make sure that you will be in a warm and comfortable family environment. The price of the homestay includes all meals, your own room and laundry facilities. You will have to complete a Homestay Application form in order to apply for a homestay.
For detailed information call Joanne Tansley at 001 905 575-1212 x4626 or joanne.tansley@mohawkcollege.ca.

Please note that accommodations will not be arranged until a student's visa has been approved, and the $100 homestay finder's fee has been paid. It is also required that you forward your flight itinerary as soon as you have it.
On Campus Housing (Residence)

Visit the residence web site to make arrangements and to print off a residence application form. There are a number of rooms set aside for international students - apply early.
Off Campus Housing
Our Student Engagement office receives calls everyday from landlords who wish to host students in their rental accommodations. Student Engagement provides off-campus housing information for students who wish to find their own accommodation.
