Welcome New and Returning International Students!
Your SUCCESS is our primary objective!
To support your success, we offer International students a Welcome Orientation and Welcome Dinner designed to help you get acquainted with the important services that help you to be more effective.
The purpose of the International Student Welcome Orientation and the International Welcome Dinner is to:
- Welcome you to Mohawk College
- Introduce you to staff and a student panel talking about their experiences
- Introduce you to the services offered to support your success
- Talk to you about culture and life in Canada

Please sign up for these events in the International Student Services Office, Room C102, Fennell Campus or email us to let us know you are attending.
Plan to arrive in Canada before the last week in August for fall semester and December for winter semester to allow enough time to get settled in and acquainted to your new community.
Go to the ORIENTATION - your success depends on it!
- We also encourage all students to participate in the college-wide Orientation coordinated by the Mohawk College Student Engagement Department.
