Darcy Hepner

Darcy HepnerA native of Hamilton, Ontario saxophonist Darcy Hepner has performed with a multitude of legendary performers including BB King, Aretha Franklin, Sergio Mendes and Henry Mancini and toured internationally with Blood Sweet and Tears, Buster Poindexter and Artie Shaw. He was the Founding Department Head of the Selkirk College Music Program in Nelson, BC and a full-time faculty member at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Darcy comes to Mohawk from New York City where was a freelance musician for ten years.

Darcy has a Bachelors Degree from McMaster University and a Masters Degree from the University of Miami, FL.

Darcy teaches Ensembles, Ear Training, and Arranging at Mohawk.
