YourPrivacy Expert Instructs at MohawkHAMILTON, ON-March 11, 2005: Students and faculty of Mohawk College’s Small Business Management program will receive timely and relevant instruction on March 15 th relating to the issue of privacy in business operations. Drawing on the various privacy laws, such as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, the seminar will be conducted by YourPrivacy, a leading provider of privacy compliance solutions for organizations of all sizes throughout Canada. Mario Morel, President of YourPrivacy and Senior Privacy Expert, will be the instructor of the program, themed “10 ways to keep the privacy watchdogs away.”
With a focus on privacy in business from an operational standpoint, Mohawk College participants will benefit from a heightened awareness of the need to implement protocols and respect of employee and client’s rights to informational privacy.
The seminar will be conducted from 1- 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 in Room C114 of the Fennell Campus of Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology, located at 135 Fennell Ave. W., on the corner of Fennell Ave. and West 5th Street in Hamilton, Ontario.
