Mohawk College students started classes this week and the athletics program gets underway immediately. Both Mountaineer soccer teams hit the road this weekend for Ottawa and the Algonquin Thunder Soccer Tournament.
The women’s team, coached by Renzo Castellani, open up against host Algonquin Saturday (Sept. 9) at 2:00 pm. Sunday at 11:00 am the Mountaineers play La Cite of Ottawa.
The Mohawk men’s squad, coached by Richard Bennett, play St. Anthony’s Soccer Club of Ottawa, Saturday at 4:30. They then face Champlain of Quebec, Sunday at 1:30 pm.
