Great finish for Mohawk Cross Country Runner Andre Simon
Mohawk cross country runner Andre Simon turned in a solid performance at the World Triathlon Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland September 2.
Competing in the men’s 20-24 age group, Simon wound up 32nd among 70 finishers. The Biotechnology Technician student, finished in third place among 11 Canadians who completed the race.
Mohawk’s first meet of the cross country season will be Saturday September 16 as coach Wayne Collins’ Mountaineers will co-host an invitational event with Redeemer College in Ancaster.
