Mohawk Sports Schedule for Friday and Saturday
Three more Mohawk College teams see their first action this weekend.
Last year’s Ontario Colleges Athletic Association bronze medal winner, the women’s fastball team, opens its regular season tonight (Friday Sept. 15) as it plays host to the Seneca Sting. Game time at the Mohawk Sports Park will be 5:30 pm.
Volleyball fans will get an early look at the men’s team, which went undefeated en route to the 2005-2006 OCAA title. The Mountaineers hook up with local rival Redeemer Royals of Ancaster tonight at 6:00 at the Fennell Gymnasium.
The men’s rugby team kicks off its campaign tomorrow night (Saturday) when it visits Sir Sandford Fleming in Peterborough.
