Mohawk College Athletics Helps Haiti
The Mohawk Students’ Athletic Committee and the College’s Athletic Department have announced that all proceeds from varsity home games Tuesday and Wednesday (January 19-20) will be donated to the relief efforts in Haiti. The Mohawk Students’ Association (MSA) will match 200% of money collected to the cause.
The ‘HOPE FOR HAITI’ campaign has been initiated by the MSA, which will direct the funds to the Red Cross.
Mohawk meets Fanshawe in OCAA basketball Tuesday, with the women’s game at 6:00 pm and the men’s contest at 8:00 pm.
Wednesday, the Mountaineers host Humber in volleyball action, with the women on the floor at 6:00 pm followed by the men at 8:00 pm.
