Student Ambassador/Volunteer Request Form

Are you looking for help at an upcoming event or function @ Mohawk College?  Let our highly trained and skilled ambassadors and volunteers help.  

Ambassadors are highly trained volunteers that have been recommended based on prior performance. We have a limited number of these students currently, in a pilot program.

Volunteers are students who have come forward to us to offer their services. They have a variety of backgrounds and skill sets. We have more than 60 active volunteers registered with us. These students will receive basic training and throughout the semester they will be assessed as to their suitability for the ambassador program.

We are currently looking for a list of upcoming events/internal volunteer opportunities for the winter semester in advance so we can schedule volunteers to assist. 

Events will be scheduled based on priority. Qualifying to receive student assistance is not automatic or guaranteed. For your event you are expected to provide 2 alternate orientation/debriefing dates and times for interested students. You must monitor a sign-in and sign-out sheet for volunteers and provide a copy to our department for volunteer hour qualification.
