Log in Issues

I'm having trouble logging in...

To log in to and use the system, you must supply a valid username and password and be using a recent version of a standard Internet browser. If you are having trouble logging in to the system, it may be due to compatibility problems or other issues on your computer.

Note: MOCOmotion passwords are case-sensitive

Why do I get a message that my account has expired when I try to login?

MOCOmotion will disable accounts that have not been accessed within the previous 120 days. Call the Helpdesk (available Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) at 905-575-2199 or 1-866-410-4795 ext. 2199 to have it reactivated. Have your student number ready.

 

Why do I get the message "User name/password pair not found" when I try to login?

I've lost my password... now what?

How do I change my password?

Passwords can be changed via the “My Account” link in MOCOmotion.

Can I change my user name?

Sorry, but the MOCOmotion user name is not editable.

 

Can I keep using my MOCOmotion account after I graduate?

Yes, but remember that accounts inactive for 120 days will automatically expire.

 

Why am I experiencing unexpected Session timeouts?

MOCOmotion will timeout a student account after one hour of inactivity. Unexpected session timeouts arise when you login to your account but already have an active session running. MOCOmotion allows only one active session per user account.

You'll need to close all browser windows running MOCOmotion and try again.

Accessing Important Information

How do I access my final grades?

To view your grades, log on to MOCOmotion. In the “My Student Account” tab, click on “My Final Grades” select a term and Submit.

How do I access my T2202A income tax form?

To access a T2202A income tax form, Log on to MOCOmotion. In the “My Student Account” tab, click on “Tax Receipts” under the “my Account” box.

Why do I get the message "The page cannot be displayed" when I try to access Self-Service in the Main Menu from my place of work?

Most likely access is being blocked by a firewall at your place of work. Log in to MOCOmotion from another location (home or a public library) and see if you can view the page.

 

Why do I get the message "Access Denied" when I click on Student Information once in Self-Service?

MOCOmotion is trying to log you into the Student Information System, but your credentials are being rejected. Call the Helpdesk (available Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) at 905-575-2199 to have your account information updated. Have your Student Number ready.
