How will my teachers know I am a person with a disability?
At the start of the semester or school year, you will meet with your Case manager and a Confidential Academic Accommodation Plan (CAAP) will be prepared for you to send to your teachers. The CAAP includes such information as testing and classroom accommodations, as well as your Case Manager's contact information. The CAAP also clearly outlines the responsibilities for both you and your teacher(s) that will support your academic studies.
