Language Instruction for Newcomers (LINC) - Youth Photography Project
This new FREE program is available to LINC eligible youth 18 to 25 years old.
The LINC Youth Photography Project starts youth on a pathway that leads to the equivalent of Grade 12 English for post-secondary admission at Mohawk College.
The program will provide youth with the English and other essential skills to prepare them for LINC-Youth Video Project, other higher level LINC Classes lead into post-secondary education and the workplace. Transportation assistance may be available to eligible students.
- Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing (CLB Literacy, 1 to 3)
- Photography skills, computer editing, writing photo stories and comic strips
- Computer Labs, Library and Counselling
New students will be accepted every Monday.
This program is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
