Appointments
In order to provide high-quality health care, it is recommended that you schedule appointments with the same physician so that they can become familiar with you and your health needs.
Please plan to arrive at the health clinic at least 10 minutes before your appointment to allow for the completion of paperwork. If you are late for an appointment, it may be cancelled and rebooked for another time.
There are sometimes same-day appointments available. Call early and ask us about the possibility of a same-day appointment.
There is a fee for missed appointments so please call and leave us a message to cancel if you are unable to keep your appointment.
Confidentiality
When booking an appointment, students are asked the nature of the visit so that an appropriate amount of time can be booked for that appointment (for example, initial birth control visits require longer appointment times). Only general information is required to determine the time slot. You do not need to disclose the entire nature of your visit to the reception staff.
At reception, students are given a form to fill in with the reason for their visit. This information does not need to be repeated out loud.
All services provided by the Health Services clinic - health care, emotional support, counseling, education, and diagnostic tests - are confidential. Health records are entirely separate from other college documents. No one from an academic or administrative department has access to any information about you without your written consent, including whether or not you have ever visited Health Services.
