We wanted to inform you that Mohawk College will no longer be holding our annual United Way Garage Sale.
Cancelling the event was a difficult yet necessary decision. During a time of increasing fiscal constraint, the annual fundraiser was financially unsustainable for Mohawk. While the event raised $6,000 for the United Way the associated costs for Mohawk were not sustainable.
Mohawk students and staff will continue to support the United Way through on-campus fundraisers, special events and payroll deduction. We thank you for your on-going support for over thirty years of a great event.
